Jesus in the Quran:-
2: 136 Say ye: "We believe in Allah and the revelation given to us and to Abraham Isma'il Isaac Jacob and the Tribes and that given to Moses and Jesus and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord we make no difference between one and another of them and we bow to Allah (in Islam) [Muslimoon]."
3: 45 Behold! the angels said "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus the son of Mary held in honor in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah.
3: 55 Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee [mutawaffika = let you die] and raise [rafi'uka] thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject Faith to the Day of Resurrection; then shall ye all return unto Me and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute
*** There is another deliberate mis translation of the verse to cover up the inconsistencies of the Quran.
" I shall take thee…" should actually read " I shall cause thee to die and then raise thee…" which completely changes the meaning and hence the implications of the verse because it contradicts the earlier assertion in the Quran (4:157) that Jesus did not die.
Moreover, assuming for an instance, that the general theme of the Gospel accounts is true, then the Jews - contrary to the malicious implications of the interpreter - would have rightly rejected Jesus for the following theological reasons:
a) If he had declared himself the son of God, this would have been unacceptable to their strict monotheism just as it is totally unacceptable to Muhammad and his followers who would have executed him also.
b) He did not fulfil the characteristics as accepted in the tradition of the Jews of their Messiah; he did not LIBERATE them from Roman occupation and subjugation ***
3: 59 This similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam: He created him from dust then said to him: "Be" and he was.
*** As usual, the Quran is again in ERROR since ADAM was created from a MOULD and NOT by a WORD ***
3: 84 Say: "We believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham Isma'il Isaac Jacob and the Tribes and in (Books) given to Moses Jesus and the Prophets from their Lord; we make no distinction between one and another among them and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam) [Muslimoon]."
4: 157 That they said (in boast) "We killed Christ Jesus(Massih Isa) the son of Mary the Apostle of Allah"; but they killed him not nor crucified him but so it was made to appear to them and those who differ therein are full of doubts with no (certain) knowledge but only conjecture to follow for of a surety they killed him not.
*** The allegedly illiterate and unlearned Muhammad who arrived on the scene of history at least 620 years after the events of Jesus, presumes to know more than the Gospels and the Christains. Moreover, this verse contradicts 3:55.
Most important of all, this verse completely DESTROYS the Christian RELIGION since WITHOUT the DEATH of Jesus, there is no RESURRECTION and hence, without DEATH & RESURRECTION, there is neither meaning nor purpose for CHRISTIANITY ***
5: 46 And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary confirming the law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light and confirmation of the law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear Allah.
57: 27 Then in their wake We followed them up with (others of) Our apostles: We sent after them Jesus the son of Mary and bestowed on him the Gospel; and We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the monasticism which they invented for themselves We did not prescribe for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good pleasure of Allah; but that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed on those among them who believed their (due) reward but many of them are rebellious transgressors.
*** Yet once more is the Quran in ERROR (TWICE in this case) since neither the God of Jesus nor Allah ever sent him the Gospels.
The Gospels, after all, were WRITTEN down DECADES AFTER the death of Jesus ***
61: 6 And remember Jesus the son of Mary said: "O Children of Israel! I am the apostle of Allah (sent) to you confirming the Law (which came) before me and giving glad Tidings of an Apostle to come after me whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs they said "This is evident sorcery!"
*** No follower of Muhammad could point out such a statement ANYWHERE in the whole of Christian Scripture ***
Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 293 Narrated byJabir ibn Abdullah
I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: A section of my people will not cease fighting for the Truth and will prevail till the Day of Resurrection. He said: Jesus son of Mary would then descend and their (Muslims') commander would invite him to come and lead them in prayer, but he would say: No, some amongst you are commanders over some (amongst you). This is the honour from Allah for this Ummah.
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 3.656 & 3.425 Narrated byAbu Huraira
Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you as a just ruler, he will break the cross, kill the pigs, and abolish the Jizya tax. Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it (as charitable gifts).

The Prophet said, "I saw Moses, Jesus and Abraham (on the night of my Ascension to the heavens). Jesus was of red complexion, curly hair and a broad chest. Moses was of brown complexion, straight hair and tall stature as if he was from the people of Az-Zutt."

Allah's Apostle said "How will you be when the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you and he will judge people by the Law of the Qur'an and not by the law of Gospel (Fateh-ul Bari page 304 and 305 Vol 7).

Whenever Ibn 'Umar was asked about marrying a Christian lady or a Jewess, he would say: "Allah has made it unlawful for the believers to marry ladies who ascribe partners in worship to Allah, and I do not know of a greater thing, as regards to ascribing partners in worship, etc. to Allah, than that a lady should say that Jesus is her Lord although he is just one of Allah's slaves."
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 4310 Narrated byAbuHurayrah
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace be upon him). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him.
*** The Quran asserts that ALL the prophets of Israel, including Jesus, Mary and the Apostles were Muslims: Believers in the One and Only God; which of course they were ***
